IPL 2019 MI vs DC 18/04/19

Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 40 runs yesterday to win their 6th match here at Feroz Shah Kotla in the ongoing IPL 2019.


Winning the toss, MI captain Rohit Sharma elected to bat first and got a flying start. Opener Quinton de Kock hit 35 runs off 27 balls to give MI a good start while Pandya brothers, Hardik(32 runs)  and Krunal(37 runs)  played good cameos to help MI post 168/5.
In reply,  the hosts too got a good start but were unable to reach the score and MI restricted them to 128/9 and winning the match by 40 runs. Dhawan was Delhi's top scorer in the match by scoring 35 runs of 22 balls. Rahul Chahat again impressed everyone by taking three wickets and conceding only 19 runs.

Hardik Pandya of MI was announced as the Man of the match for scoring 32 runs,  taking a wicket and two good catches.
After this win MI have reached the 2nd spot with 12 points, just 2 points behind table toppers CSK whereas DC have moved to the third place with 10 points.
